I have to share with you one of my all time favorite breakfast bowls that is healthy and so delicious. I have talked in the past about how much I intermittent fast each day. I have been doing it for a while now , and have seen so many amazing results from it. That is for another day, as much as I love talking about it. This coconut yogurt bowl is a great way to break the fast , or just have as an afternoon snack. It honestly to me taste like a great dessert. I choose coconut yogurt due to the low sugar intake, and the health benefits of it. There is many brands that you can pick from. You may want to opt for a low sugar, regular yogurt and thats fine too.
The great thing about this bowl is that any type of fruit will work with it. I just choose these because of the love I have for strawberries and kiwi together. I also love the added bananas. I opt for a very healthy Sakara granola. I love the way their granola taste, and how healthy and low sugar it is. That is one thing you have to watch with granola. It can become very sugar laden quickly. Another great option is to make your own granola. Their are many healthy and quick recipes for all natural granola.
1 /12 cup of all natural coconut yogurt
1/2 banana sliced
3 organic strawberries sliced
1 organic kiwi sliced
1/2 cup all natural granola of your choice
1 spoonful chia seeds
optional: You can also add in some nuts of your choice. I love a few pecans and walnuts. They can really add additional flavor.
Place your yogurt in a bowl . Top with the fruit. I love putting them in rows. It gives for a pretty picture. I then sprinkle a spoonful of chia seeds on top. Chia Seeds are full of Iron, Magnesium, Potassium and Calcium. Hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
