Happy Friday!
Who else is a coffee lover like me? I have loved it ever since I could remember. That first hot cup each morning always gets my day started just right. I top out these days at about 2-3 cups because I don’t like drinking a bunch of caffeine. I feel it’s just not a good thing. I usually feel pretty good after my second cup. Too much caffeine for me doesn’t make me feel all that great. There are so many amazing benefits of drinking your coffee, minus all the sugar and cream. I add a bit of ghee or superfood powder to mine each morning.

The amazing benefits of coffee are outstanding. Recent studies show that it may add years to your life. Coffee drinkers are less likely to die from diabetes, stroke, heart diesase or kidney disease. Your body may process glucose or sugar better which could lessen your chances of getting type 2 diabetes. It showed also that having atleast one cup a day could help ward off heart failure. Dark roast coffee also decreases breakage in DNA strands, which can occur naturally ,but if not repaired by the cells in your body, it can wreak havoc such as leading to cancer or tumors. Coffee contains about a thousand different botanical compounds. The coffee beans are so rich in antioxidants, which protect cells against damage. The pick me up drink has also shown to lower depression.
I will always drink my morning coffee, not just for the taste, but also for the health benefits. Just like anything else, it’s best not to go too overboard with the caffeine. Too much can cause anxiousness, jittery feelings, and adding in the sweet creams and sugar can cause havoc on your health. It’s lots of unhealthy fats. I’d advise to skip caffeine late in the day because it will keep you from getting a good nghts sleep. If your expecting, I would cut down on the amount of caffeine your drinking.
Overall, coffee is GOOD! Keep drinking your Joe ! Your health will thank you.
