I can’t believe Christmas is over, and the New Year is about to begin. It seems like yesterday I was putting all my trees up and decorating for the holidays. It’s crazy how fast it actually goes. Well with the New Year coming , everyone has their new intentions, goals and what not. I’m asked so much about what my resolutions are , or what my new year goals are. It’s crazy but I don’t really set New Year’s resolutions. I try to live pretty much every day with intention and gratitude, and invest more time into family and wellness. I feel I already do that, but there is always a little more you can do when it comes to those things.
I’m all about my travel planning. That’s such a fun thing for me, and what I want to incorporate new wise into my daily workouts, eating, etc. I feel when you make resolutions , you can kinda set yourself up for failure by expecting too much out of yourself. Working small, incorporating at a slower pace is what really works, and not expecting an all or nothing.
Everyone is different, and many people work great under pressure when wanting to make a change. Whether it’s a lifestyle change, taking alcohol out of your life, exercising more, traveling more, saying no more.. whatever it is.. it can be done. I love to make small lists and schedules to keep myself accountable. I’m a very structured and disciplined person and can be extreme with certain things, so it doesn’t take me long to get to where I’m going. A lot of people are like that and that’s great, but if you’re not, you don’t have to put a bunch of pressure on yourself to get to your goals. A new day to me is a new beginning when it comes to anything. A new year is another year to just make the adjustments you want to make so that you have the best year yet! Be easy on yourself , don’t expect to much and you will get to where your going. I promise!
