Aspen.. The city of fun. I can’t say much more than that. I have been to about every place in Colorado, but Aspen tops my list. It tops my list so much, that I can see my self spending lots of summers there. The place is so quaint and beautiful. I am a snow bunny, so I love to ski and snowmobile. I find much joy in getting in the snow. The city has so much to offer, and the scenery is just that… Wow!
We stayed at the beautiful St. Regis Aspen, where I can’t say enough good about this place. They definitely set you up for a week of pampering. I absolutely enjoyed their spa Remede so much, that I spent a lot of my time in there . I got massages and facials almost every day and even enjoyed their oxygen bar. My facialist Paige even spent a good amount of time talking to me about skincare and giving me pointers on how to keep my skin healthy and what the best skincare was to use.
The restaurant and bar scene are wonderful. I do not think you could get a bad meal in Aspen. One of my favorites was the snow lodge at the St. Regis. They have some of the best entertainment and drinks around. Their espresso martini is amazing. If you love a good Italian dish, you need to check out the amazing Casa Tua. The service is impeccable. The dishes are savory and delicious.
The skiing is fabulous. I would say that if you are not a great skiier, then you may want to ski somewhere in Snow Mass. It is a city right next door to Aspen and has a lot of smaller hills for you beginners. I love St. Regis because they do have a ski in and ski out area where you can ski without traveling. Everything is right there at the resort. We snowmobiled one day with our amazing guide Sasha. She was darling. She worked with T-Lazy-7 Ranch Snowmobiling. She took us through some amazing areas to check out, and we stopped half way for some hot tea. It was wonderful. I highly recommend them.
The shopping is a whole other story. I can’t tell you how wonderful the shopping is. You get a variety of small , cute boutiques along with the amazing luxury stores like Gucci and Moncler. I absolutely fell in love with the Wyld Blue Boutique. She had some amazing items ,which were very unique and she was the sweetest. The fitness aspect in Aspen is something that is also amazing. You will not find a shortage of fitness options. They have something for everyone and the people there are fit. There is no doubt about it. It is one of the best places I’ve ever been and I had such an amazing time. If you are planning to head out west and need a great place for some snow fun, look no further than Aspen. I will definitely be back !
