My Delicious Raw Cacao Energy Balls

I wanted to share an amazing recipe that is perfect for a mid day snack. These are not only delicious, but packed with antioxidants . These balls are great to pre make and keep in the fridge for the whole family to enjoy. They are packed with really good nuts, and no refined sugar whatsoever. These will give you plenty of fiber, and energy that your body needs. This is a great substitution for any sugar filled snacks that you may be use to.

INGREDIENTS
*1/2 cup raw walnuts
*1/2 cup raw almonds
*1 cup old fashioned oats ( organic )
*2 Tbsp. raw cacao powder
*a dash of salt
*1 to 2 Tbsp. water
*1/4 cup organic almond butter or nut butter
*1 tsp organic vanilla extract
- Put the nuts, oats, cacao and dash of salt into a food processor. You want to make sure everything is broken down. Once it’s broken down, add in the nut butter. Make sure everything is fully mixed up and not gritty.
- Add the water in. Make sure it is thick. If it’s too loose, add more water.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop out mixture with a spoon and roll into balls. Line them up on the baking sheet. Let them chill in the fridge for atleast an hour or overnight. Make sure they are completely chilled when you take them out. If not, they will fall apart. ( we don’t want that)
