My Delicious Banana Oat Cakes

Hey Loves!

One thing I absolutely love eating to break my fast is my oat cakes. They are made with 100% organic ingredients, and the best part is that they are easy. These delicious cakes take about 10 minutes to whip up and are so delicious. Traditional pancakes are amazing, but loaded up with so many preservatives and unhealthy fats.

Not all pancakes are healthy. Now you can make some amazing , healthy alternatives that will not leave you feeling sluggish and heavy afterwards. I love making these, and adding organic berries, and pecans to them. You can also add some really healthy sugar-free maple syrup. These do not use any dairy and are my vegan-friendly cakes. I know you are all going to love them.

INGREDIENTS

Old-fashioned Oats– I try to use gluten -free oats. They are vegan friendly and are delicious.

1 Large Very Ripe Banana– ripe bananas are easy to cook with . I use organic bananas

Unsweetened Oat Milk or any dairy free milk alternative

First, you want to blend your oats in a blender. This makes the oats into a oat flour to begin with. If you do not have oats, you can just use organic gluten free oat flour. Once you have the oat flour made, you want to add in the banana. Make sure the batter is thick and runny. If the consistency is too thick, try adding in a bit of water. Add in the organic oat milk or almond milk ( sugar free). Make sure the consistency is thick. You want the batter thick enough to make into cakes, and not be running in the pan. You can also chop up some pecans and add into the batter, or put on top once the pancakes are done. Heat a pan on low heat with a bit of olive oil . Make sure the pan is heated thoroughly. Pour some batter into a measuring cup and pour a bit onto the pan to make a round cake. Use a spatula to flatten out the cake once it has cooked. Flip to the other side. Once they are done, place on your plate and add berries, and sugar maple syrup. It is so yummy.
