My Amazing Spirulina Morning Booster Smoothie

I wanted to share one of my favorite morning smoothies that really boost my energy before a workout, and the best thing is that it is super healthy for your skin. It has one of my favorite ingredients in it that I absolutely love- Spirulina. Spirulina is a powder form ingredient that is made from a natural blue green algae. It has many health benefits including helping regulate blood sugar levels, lower cholesterol levels, help improve overall heart health, helps with keeping inflammation down, and helps with keeping mental health in check.

You can make your smoothie in alot of different ways. Pinterest and Google offer many different offerings, but the way I make mine is so delicious.
*1 frozen organic banana
*Spinach- fresh
*natural aloe juice
*Oat milk
*1/2 avocado
*collagen
*Spirulina powder
I usually use about 1 cup of the oat milk and then 1/2 cup of everything else. I feel that is the perfect combination. I usually buy a very good spirulina from my local health store. You can also find some great brands on Amazon. I get asked quite often, “Can you taste the Spirulina? Honestly, No. You can smell it in the bag, but once it’s in the smoothie, the other ingredients mask the smell. I usually put 2 tsp. of the powder in the smoothie. I hope you enjoy this smoothie as much as I do.
